CSR report 2014 now online
Troldtekt’s 2014 report on its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities can now be downloaded from the company’s website. The report has also been submitted to the UN, as the annual CSR report is part of our obligations under the UN Global Compact scheme, which we joined in 2010. The UN Global Compact is the world’s biggest voluntary initiative for corporate social responsibility.
Troldtekt’s CSR report 2014 differs from its previous reports in that it is now structured according to the principles of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI G4). This methodology improves the content and data gathering, and also makes it easier to measure and compare Troldtekt’s CSR work with that of other organisations. The reason for this initiative is our objective of third-party verification of our CSR reporting for 2015.

37 key indicators
An important aspect of the work with GRI G4 is the so-called materiality analysis. Together with the consulting firm Carve Consulting, Troldtekt has conducted a thorough analysis of our approach to CSR and arrived at 37 areas – or indicators – which Troldtekt needs to report on. Examples of these indicators include energy consumption, risk classification of suppliers, industrial injuries and absence due to illness.
A key element of Troldtekt’s CSR work is the Cradle to Cradle principles, which also underpin the company’s business strategy. Its strategic work with Cradle to Cradle was also the reason why Troldtekt won the CSR Awards’ Strategy Prize in 2014.
