We're celebrating 90 years of good acoustics: Win a Troldtekt® ceiling for a vital community project
Troldtekt acoustic panels are turning 90 in 2025. We're celebrating this by donating an acoustic ceiling of up to 250 square metres. Do you know a community project that's making a difference? Then submit your nomination here.
Do you know a community project where brilliant acoustics would make a positive impact? It could be a sports club for vulnerable young people, a community centre for veterans, a workshop for those with mental health challenges – or something else entirely. Nominate them now for a Troldtekt acoustic ceiling of up to 250 square metres.
Simply send us a photo of the space where the ceiling could make a difference – and briefly describe what better acoustics would mean for the people who use it.
Why are we doing this?
Since 1935, Troldtekt has improved architecture with brilliant acoustics. Our anniversary is the perfect opportunity to recognise the community projects driving change for those in need.
For more than a decade, our business strategy has been founded on the Cradle to Cradle design concept, where social responsibility is one of the five categories. At the same time, one of Troldtekt's core values is responsibility.
Responsibility is also embedded in the culture of the Kingspan Group, of which Troldtekt is a part. As part of the Group's sustainability programme, Planet Passionate, Kingspan has initiatives in place to support local communities.

What are we donating?
· Up to 250 square metres of Troldtekt acoustic ceiling. We'll agree on the specific product variant with the winner.
· Free delivery to the winning project (in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, the UK, Netherlands or Belgium)
· Troldtekt structure screws + touch-up paint in a matching colour.
Please note! The winner agrees to arrange for the ceiling to be mounted and grants Troldtekt permission to photograph the finished result for marketing purposes.
Who is eligible to be nominated?
If your community project matches the description below, it's a perfect candidate for nomination:
· Volunteer-run associations, NGOs or charitable projects and communities.
· The project must have a clear social purpose.
How to enter
To nominate a community project for the acoustic panels, all you need to do is:
· Send an email to 90years@troldtekt.com no later than 15 October 2025
· Attach at least one photo of the space where you want to mount the ceiling.
· Provide a short motivational statement of why it should win (max 150 words): Tell us about the community project: what's it about, where is it based, what difference does it make? What would good acoustics mean for the users?
Troldtekt will contact the winner by 1 November 2025.
