Troldtekt and ESG
Documentation and transparency are key words in Troldtekt’s activities within Environment, Social and Governance (ESG). We are a signatory to the UN Global Compact and report annually on our initiatives in four main areas.
At Troldtekt, we bring our passion for people and the planet to work with us, and we have been working on sustainability initiatives long before it became a requirement. Today, we divide our activities into Environment, Social and Governance.
In our annual ESG report – which until 2023 was called a CSR report – you can read about our work and results within each of the three areas.
A strategic approach
To meet increasingly stringent ESG requirements, it is crucial that our focus on people and the environment permeates every corner of the company. We have anchored these activities in our business strategy, which is based on the holistic design concept Cradle to Cradle.
The strategic approach ensures that we work systematically within all five categories of the concept: Material Health, Product Circularity, Clean Air & Climate Protection, Water & Soil Stewardship and Social Fairness.
We support the UN’s principles
Since 2010, Troldtekt has been part of the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate social responsibility initiative. By joining, we are committed to complying with the UN’s ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour rights, the environment and anti-corruption.
In a number of policies, we describe how we comply with the principles in practice and how we require our suppliers to comply with them as well. In addition, several of the principles are in line with Cradle to Cradle.
