Troldtekt and ESG
The UN’s principles for social responsibility are central to Troldtekt’s ESG work and in our annual environmental, social and governance reporting. We emphasise documentation and transparency in our ESG work.
At Troldtekt, we bring our passion for people and the planet to work with us, and we have been working on sustainability initiatives long before it became a requirement. Today, we divide our activities into Environment, Social and Governance.
UN initiatives as a foundation
Troldtekt signed up to the UN Global Compact back in 2010 and our work therefore follows the UN Principles on human rights, labour rights, the environment and anti-corruption.
As part of the Kingspan Group, Troldtekt participates in the Group’s global sustainability programme, Planet Passionate, which runs until 2030. The programme is divided into four categories – CO₂e reduction, energy, circularity and water – which form the basis for both strategic and operational environmental initiatives in our company.
Reporting based on EU standards
At Troldtekt, we report annually on our work with Environment, Social and Governance. The ESG reports provide a nuanced insight into our goals, efforts, results and development.
Our reporting is based on the EU’s European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The standards are part of the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Troldtekt complies with EU requirements through Kingspan Group’s reporting. In our own ESG report, we also use ESRS as the overarching framework.
